How to set a default donation type for your fundraiser

The default donation type allows you to choose which giving option donors see first when visiting your fundraiser—either a one-time donation or a monthly donation.

To set a default donation type for your fundraiser:

    Go to Fundraisers from the menu.

    Under Active Fundraisers, create a new fundraiser or select an existing fundraiser to edit.

    In the fundraiser editor, locate the Donation Preferences section, then find the Default Donation Type toggle and select your preference:

      Give once: Prioritizes one-time donations.
    2. b
      Give monthly: Prioritizes recurring monthly donations.

    Donors will still be able to choose their preferred donation type. This setting only controls which option is shown first.

    Once you're satisfied with your changes, click Publish Changes at the bottom of the page to update your fundraiser.
