How to set a default donation type

The default donation type allows you to choose which giving option donors see first when visiting your profile—either a one-time donation or a monthly donation.

To set a default donation type:

   Go to Edit My Page from the menu.

   Scroll down to the Donation Preferences section.

   Locate the Default Donation Type toggle and select your preference:

   1. a
      Give once: Prioritizes one-time donations.
   2. b
      Give monthly: Prioritizes recurring monthly donations.

   Donors will still be able to choose their preferred donation type. This setting only controls which option is shown first.

   Once you're satisfied with your changes, click Publish Changes at the bottom of the page to update your profile.
