How to change your name

Sowfund uses your legal name so donors can find you and all donations are processed under a verified identity.

To view or update your name, follow these steps:

View your registered name

   Go to Account Settings from the menu

   Under Security and Privacy, click Personal Information

   On the Personal Information page, navigate to General Information

   Your legal name, registered to your Sowfund account and profile, will be displayed under General Information

Change your display name

If you go by a different name and want donors to recognize you more easily, you can set a public display name that appears on your Sowfund page instead of your legal name.

   Go to Edit My Page from the menu

   Toggle on “Use a different name on my profile”

   Enter the name you’d like to appear on your public page

   Click Publish Changes at the bottom of the screen
