Chicken Farm Project
41 days left
I am preparing to move to Lusaka, Zambia to join Taonga with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), in the next 2 weeks, leaving Australia on the 13th September. With a one-way ticket booked, I'm stepping into a season that feels both exciting and deeply dependent on God's leading. I'm not exactly sure when we'll be back to Australia, but we're looking forward to seeing what God has in store for this next chapter. Part of our vision is to create a sustainable source of income through farming chickens of about 1,000. The hope is that it will not only help support us while we live and serve in Zambia at YWAM, but also financially support the soccer ministry that Taonga is already running in the local community. Looking further ahead, we hope the start of this project will become a part of our foundation for the future in Zambia. To get the farm established, we'll need around $12,000AUD in startup costs, this will include building the chicken run building at the YWAM Lusaka base, so also then helping the base with financial support through chicken farming in the future.
