Sowfund Now Accepts Mail-In Checks

Sowfund now accepts mail-in checks — they appear directly on your dashboard with a fixed $3 processing fee. A highly requested feature, now live.

We heard you — and we built it.

Starting today, Sowfund accepts mail-in checks. If your donors prefer to write a check, they can now send one directly to Sowfund, and it will appear on your missionary dashboard just like any other donation.

How It Works

When a donor mails a check to Sowfund, it gets processed and posted to your account. You'll see it reflected on your dashboard with a fixed processing fee of $3 — no percentage, no surprises.

That's it. Nothing changes on your end. The donation shows up, your balance updates, and you can withdraw as normal.

Why We Built This

This was one of the most requested features from our missionary community. Many of your donors — especially older supporters, church members, and family — aren't comfortable giving online. They've been giving by check their whole lives, and they weren't going to change.

Until now, that meant losing gifts or managing donations outside the platform entirely. We didn't want missionaries to have to choose between the convenience of Sowfund and the giving preferences of their supporters.

So we fixed it.

One Platform for Every Donor

Whether your supporters give by card, bank transfer, or now check — everything lives in one place. One dashboard. One giving history. One support team.
