In 2024, Misha and Angelika felt a clear call from God to move from the United States to Canada to equip believers, raise disciples, and reach the lost alongside other faith-led leaders. They believe the Church is called to walk in the power and authority of Jesus Christ, not passive faith. In a time marked by confusion, apathy, and compromise, their mission is to help believers carry Kingdom culture into every sphere of life and stand firm in truth. "We see a generation awakened to their identity in Christ, unshaken by adversity, strengthened in grace, and empowered to bring victory. We are called to raise bold, Spirit-filled believers who carry the Kingdom's culture, stand firm in truth, and demonstrate the transforming power of God in every sphere. We also see a family of believers across all ages walking in unity, honouring one another, and building the Church with shared faith and wisdom as one body in Christ." Angelika and Misha
The ARK Gathering was founded as a divine assignment and continues as an active Christian movement committed to seeing lives transformed through Jesus Christ. Together with other believers, Misha and Angelika are devoted to raising disciples by gathering people into community, equipping them with biblical truth, and releasing them to advance the Kingdom with courage and clarity. "The disciples flipped the world upside down, and there were only 12 of them. It's time to flip Canada and the rest of the world." Misha Toropov
Over the past few years, Misha and Angelika have been actively hosting gatherings in their home in a life-group setting. People ages 15 to 40 have been coming consistently, and many times, new visitors have simply shown up at the door. These nights have become a place where people encounter God, grow in faith, build real community, and bring friends who are searching for truth. As the gatherings continue to grow, the need has become clear. The space is no longer enough to hold what God is doing. That is why Misha and Angelika are actively looking for a building where these meetings can continue and expand, so the demand can be met and more people can be reached. Aside from these home gatherings, they have also been hosting separate meetings for women and men. These take place in different settings, including retreats, public gatherings, and sometimes in someone's home. They create space for genuine fellowship through fun activities, meaningful connections, and bold conversations about relevant topics that people are facing today. They believe this kind of community is necessary for the Church right now, especially for the next generation. Many young people are looking for a place where they can belong, grow, and build real friendships grounded in faith. Misha and Angelika believe this is a moment for Christian leaders to stand in the gap, not stay silent or passive. With the collaboration of different churches and ministries, they are ready to begin services in a new space that will make room for more believers to gather. A place where people feel free to invite others, hear the Gospel, be discipled, and be sent out to impact their families, workplaces, and communities.
Misha and Angelika see a great need in the area of restoring relationships and strengthening families. As a happily married couple who have chosen to build their marriage on the wisdom of the Word of God, they carry a deep burden to see family life rebuilt on truth, unity, and covenant. "Relationships are the foundation of everything. When marriages are healthy, families become stable. And when Christian families understand God's design, they become a light in a world that is growing more confused and broken. This is also why the attack on the family has become so intense. The enemy targets unity, identity, purity, and covenant, because healthy family units raise healthy generations." - Angelika Over and over, they have seen that many people genuinely desire healthy relationships, but they are carrying real struggles. Couples face communication breakdowns, emotional distance, mistrust, temptation, disappointment, and wounds that were never healed. Others are engaged and want to start well, but do not have clear guidance. Through conversations with couples preparing for marriage and couples who have been married for decades, Misha and Angelika have seen that when biblical truth is made simple and practical, clarity comes, hope returns, and relationships can be restored. Their heart is to equip couples with wisdom they can actually apply, so they can grow in unity and protect their covenant. They also carry a burden for young people who are longing to find the one. Many dream of marriage, yet find it difficult to build pure, healthy relationships in today's society. Culture often normalizes compromise and temporary love, but God calls His people higher. Misha and Angelika want to speak boldly, with love and truth, about God's design for relationships, not to condemn, but to protect, prepare, and guide the next generation into relationships that honour God and produce lasting fruit.
