A missionary from Taiwan serving in Los Angeles, pursuing a life of mercy ministry. Seeking to bring the love of Christ to people through practical action.
My story
I grew up in a Buddhist-dominated environment in Taiwan. After encountering the love of Christ, my life was completely changed and saved by His grace. Since then, my heart's desire is for others to know this same love. This summer, I went to Tanzania with YWAM Kona, serving in different regions of the country, including among the Hadzabe, Karatu, Tanga, Shudimojo, and Arusha. Through the people I met and the places we served, I witnessed God move in powerful ways. He humbled me, deepened my understanding of the Father’s love, and gave me an even greater heart for His people. Before Tanzania, the Lord had already been stirring in me a heart for mercy ministry—loving people well by meeting their practical needs. Through the outreach, that calling only grew stronger. Two weeks ago, I moved to Los Angeles and will soon begin serving with YWAM LA as mission support staff. In this season, I’m looking forward to learning more about the practical side of missions and connecting with people and organizations who share a heart for mercy and justice.
