Jessica Guerrero

I am an educator serving in a primary school in Dandora, Nairobi, where I have been living and serving in Kenya since January 2026. I am passionate about investing in the next generation through education. Outside of teaching, I serve with Count Me In, an organization that serves the youth of Kenya through school outreach, sports, and events such as camps and concerts.

I first visited Kenya in 2019 and from then, my life has never been the same. I visited multiple times since 2019, and then in 2025, I felt God call me to make the big move in January 2026. Through my work in Kenya, I have the privilege of caring for children both inside and outside the classroom. I believe education begins with meeting a child’s most basic needs. Before a child can learn, they need to be fed, clothed, and feel safe. My heart is to see children not only receive an education, but also experience the love of Christ and discover hope for their future. I am so blessed to be a part of this mission.
